Promotion principles
- Promotions are earned, never demanded, purchased, traded, or obtained by pressuring leadership.
- Time in rank establishes eligibility, not automatic advancement.
- Demonstrate respect, maturity, teamwork, good judgment, and consistent positive contributions—not just K/D or win counts.
- Members with unresolved serious disciplinary issues are ineligible until reviewed.
- Recruitment is voluntary and is not required for promotion.
- Membership in another clan is not grounds for denial.
- Casual members have equal opportunities to earn community ranks.
- Leadership requires demonstrated responsibility and available positions.

Promotion review process
- An officer nominates an eligible member, or the member applies.
- Leadership verifies eligibility and reviews contributions, conduct, teamwork, and reliability.
- The member has an opportunity to discuss their qualifications; a leadership interview is used when applicable.
- Authorized officers make the decision.
- Approved promotions are documented privately and may be announced publicly with the member’s consent.
- Unsuccessful candidates may request constructive feedback and reapply after 14 days unless a different reasonable timeline is explained.
Demotions
A demotion may follow verified serious or repeated misconduct, misuse of permissions, harassment, discrimination, retaliation, or continued failure to fulfill agreed leadership duties after reasonable support. Members may also voluntarily step down.
Members must be informed of the reason. Casual gaming inactivity, failure to recruit, and membership in another clan are not disciplinary grounds.
Fairness and appeals
Favoritism, bribery, discrimination, and retaliation are prohibited. Expectations must accommodate school, work, family, health, and other real-life commitments.
A member may appeal a demotion or denied leadership appointment to the Commander or an uninvolved senior officer.
